Former Labour leader Ed Miliband (Doncaster North MP) and Caroline Flint (Don Valley MP) have visited Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
The two local politicians have called on the Government to tackle super-size bottles of cheap cider. This type of alcohol can cause devastating illness.
Miliband and Flint both went to see the Gastroenterology Ward, which treats people with alcohol-related liver disease. They met patients as part of the Alcohol Health Alliance's (AHA) Day of Action.
Drinks such as 3-litre bottles of strong cider was highlighted to be causing problems to health, yet can still be brought at Doncaster's local shops for only £3.
