Earlier this month, the necessary decision was took to re-route shuttles to Doncaster Royal Infirmary, which now deposit passengers at the rear and South Block.
This action has been taken by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals, in response to Covid-19, as they fundamentally rearranged the hospital sites. This is to ensure to minimise any risk of cross-infection and there are now specific areas for the movement of patients suspected or confirmed for the virus.
This means that arriving outpatients are asked to come to South Block and utilise specific corridors, instead of the normal entrances just off Armthorpe Road.
In making this change, there is a slightly different route with the shuttle, which is now travelling up and down Zetland Road on its way to site.
